The Oliver Holt Gallery provided new opportunities for artists and audiences. HOLT promoted artists by commissioning site specific interventions, particularly from new and emerging artists.
The space was made available for the development of this work. The Gallery was hosted in an active educational environment and there was opportunity for involvement with a broad creative community. The extended studio and workshop resources of the School were available to participating artists.
The Oliver Holt Gallery promoted interventions from an inclusive international congregation of creative artists working with research based, site specific and live art practices uniquely combined with education in a working residential school.
