From the Sherborne House Series

Sherborne House has been a wonderful asset in the town . There have been many great art shows there while I have been at the School. We were allowed into some of the areas of the house that are not open to the public to take photographs. The house is soon going to be renovated so this was a great opportunity. These paintings developed from my photographs are made with ground charcoal mixed with acrylic medium. I chose to use this material on these rather rough boards because it was like the grimy woodwork exposed behind the white painted panelling in the House.
