Art School STAFF

The Art School runs a creative cooperative team allowing students to access academic, technical, and tutorial support from five specialists who offer complementary and dovetailing opportunities for leaning. Specific technical specialisations are relegated in favour of critical engagement with contemporary and historical paradigms of visual thought and practice.
Alongside the trne.raditions of drawing, painting and sculpture, current staff material interests include, digital video, animation, printmaking, fabric and textile arts, wet process photography, sonic arts, and construction in steel. Claire Beale has recently completed her MFA at UWE.
Staff are encouraged to develop their own creative research interests alongside their work with students and have recently exhibited in London, New York, Bristol, Bridport and Bath as well as in Sherborne.
