Allotment Sheds

Allotment Sheds is a series of watercolours of sheds on local allotments. They were all executed on site. The informality of the drawings reflects the ramshackle state of these structures that have been built and repaired from scraps. While I was working on these paintings I met many of the people who owned them, cared for them and called them home.
