ART SCHOLARSHIP
The Art School invites applications for scholarships from young artists with an exceptional interest in the potential of the subject.
Selection for these awards is based wholly on portfolio inspection and interview. The Art School seeks individuals who will support the collective ethos of Art in the School, through their work and through championing the subject.
Portfolios submitted for inspection may contain a range of work in different media. The selection group are always interested to look at smaller scale personal work in books as well a

s large and ambitions works. A willingness to articulate a view on the items chosen for the folder will be a factor in the award decision process. The impression made by gallery and museum visits and through travel might form a valued part of the portfolio inspection interview - so an interest in the work of other artists and the personal vision of work will often be decisive in the granting of an award; while technical facility will be assumed necessary.
The Art Director is always happy to be contacted to discuss the development of potential candidates work and the best course for portfolio presentation. Prospective candidates are welcome to visit the Art School and suss out the brilliant opportunities and facilities for creative work in the School.
